Second Weekend

Depart on Friday after dark and equipped with headlamps and chem lights bravely backpack into Elkhorn campsite on the Dosewallips (pitching tents there)- the next day we hike on past the Dosewallips falls to the old Ranger station, and return on Sunday- (with the obligatory stop at Fat Smitty’s on the way home) – this is about a 10 mile round trip and easy backpacking-
