Greetings Scouts and Scouters, After a three year wait, it is time again for WashJam 2012, the Washington State Scout Jamboree, at Fort Lewis, Washington. Join over 4000 Scouts of all ages from Washington, Oregon, British Columbia and beyond, for the biggest Scouting event in the Pacific Northwest. The event will take place over August 16 - 19, 2012, and will feature a wide range of exciting activities in seven different themed areas: Technology Challenge Adventure Land Survival Challenge Advancement Challenge Athletic Challenge Venturing Challenge Mountain Man Encampment There will also be the "Cub Scout Pirate's Realm", for the Cub Scouts, featuring a pirate themed activity area with a pirate ship, castles, climbing wall and more.
